Simplifying Irregular Postage
Is there anything worse than having to dig through your pockets for loose change because you are receiving a letter with insufficient postage paid to deliver it to you? The United States Postal Service (USPS) and leading greeting card companies are working together to make it easier than ever to apply the correct postage to irregular sized envelopes. The USPS announced Monday that they are issuing a new 63 cent Monarch Butterfly stamp to be used on these greeting card sized envelopes. The greeting card companies, in turn, have agreed to print an outline of a butterfly in the postage stamp corner, allowing consumers to simply match the stamp they need to the postage outline on their envelope.
